Since the beginning of 2022, he has led the Dutch organization of PIA Group, which is co-financed by the Belgian private equity firm Baltisse, a family fund of entrepreneur Filip Balcaen. PIA Group has already acquired more than fifty accounting firms in Belgium through similar structures.

PIA Group has since also had this ambition in the Netherlands: the buyer aims to use acquisitions to create a group of individual offices that can meet the challenges of SME accountancy. This means: digitizing, optimizing processes and achieving scale, while the local brand remains intact.
