Jens Martin is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Executive Master in international Finance (MIF) at the University of Amsterdam. He received his Ph.D. from the Swiss Finance Institute / University of Lugano. He was a visiting fellow at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University, a research associate at the Kennedy School, Harvard University, a visiting faculty at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), and is a research fellow at the Tinbergen Institute. He currently conducts research in the area of Private Equity, Corporate Governance as well as initial public offerings (IPOs). His work has been published in diverse journals and books, for example, in the Journal of Financial Economics. He is coauthor for a study for Dutch Finance Ministry and advises LPs on diverse PE related questions.
